One Sided Love | Unrequited Love Poem
That never-ending sorrow,
Crept away in your tight cuddle.
The cringe I felt after the heartbreak,
Faded away just by a simple mistake.
That uneasiness that I was having for ages,
Turned into calmness just by your touch.
Acceptance makes us stronger and brings us peace,
I am letting you go with the happiness in reserve.
In love's one-way street, my heart scorched,
A silent yearning, my dreams were torched.
No, I will not ask for much,
It was more than enough.
It was not ours always forever,
In another life, we'll make it work together.
My yearning heart hopes the best for you,
With this goodbye, my love, it's hard to construe.
Yours, a one-sided lover,
Heartache I can't smother.
In another life, we'll make it work together.
My yearning heart hopes the best for you,
With this goodbye, my love, it's hard to construe.
Yours, a one-sided lover,
Heartache I can't smother.
