The Strength of Modesty | A Poem
He who walks without the cloak of grace,
Knows not the path that keeps a heart at peace.
For pride, like fire, will burn the soul to dust,
But in modest steps, we find our truest trust.
Knows not the path that keeps a heart at peace.
For pride, like fire, will burn the soul to dust,
But in modest steps, we find our truest trust.
A heart without humility has no light to guide,
For faith blooms in the soil where egos hide.
In bowing low, we rise above the fleeting,
For modesty is the root of faith’s true meaning.
For faith blooms in the soil where egos hide.
In bowing low, we rise above the fleeting,
For modesty is the root of faith’s true meaning.
