Eyes Like a Universe | A Poem by Touha Khan
In the quiet of your eyes, I find my rest,
A shelter built of dreams, a lover’s nest.
The world may roar, but in your gaze, I hear
The softest whispers only hearts endear.
Your voice, a lullaby that calms my soul,
In every word, I feel my heart grow whole.
And when your hand slips gently into mine,
The stars align, and all the heavens shine.
No distance stretches wide enough to part
The love that dwells within my steadfast heart.
For in your smile, the universe retreats,
And every fear I’ve known falls at my feet.
So let the moon and stars look on in vain,
For even they can’t rival love’s sweet reign.
In you, I’ve found the home I never knew,
A love so deep, the ocean envies too.
